 Collegial Circles:

Growing Our Own Talent

ITRC is pleased to announce an exciting professional learning opportunity: in-house collegial circles. Invite your colleagues to study your favorite book, share your most effective classroom strategy or discuss any other aspect that contributes to your success as a teacher. 

• The facilitator will choose the  topic and submit the Professional Development Proposal to ITRC (link below). 

• The rate of pay for the facilitator is $75 per hour.

• There is no cost to participants.

• The facilitator schedules meeting dates and times in order to meet the needs of all participants. 

• The collegial circle may meet in-person or via Google Meet/Zoom. 

• Hours for independent work should be included in the schedule.

• The collegial circle must meet outside of the regularly scheduled school day. 

• A NYS CTLE certificate of hours will be issued upon completion of the collegial circle.

• District approval is needed for in-service credit.

As a teacher with 32 years experience, I know and value the importance of teachers teaching teachers, and I am truly excited for the ITRC to help you implement professional learning in the form of collegial circles. Please contact me directly with your questions.
